#3 Ralph
#4 Jack
#1 Simon
#2 Piggy
Key Points:
-Jack uses a makeshift spear to hunt a pig, but is unsuccessful
-Simon & Ralph have been working for days on making shelter for all the boys.
-Ralph is frustrated with everyone because no one, except Simon, is helping him build shelters (even though they all agreed to help). Instead the boys are all playing, swimming, or hunting with Jack.
-Ralph and Jack disagree on what is more important: hunting or making shelter. Ralph is angry at Jack because he is obsessed with hunting and getting meat. They never come to an agreement, but awkwardly stop arguing.
-Simon helps the little ones get some fruit and then sneaks off to a secret place in the jungle. The secret place has a hut made of vines, trees, and boulders and is a peaceful place filled with butterflies, flowers, and birds. He makes sure no one is following him.
